Free games and game content!? Yes please!

A lot of gamers out there have never used SteamDB, which is a great resource for finding free games and game sales.  Check out my latest video showing two ways to find a near endless amount of free games, DLC, soundtracks and other extras, many of which for games you might already own.  Check it out!

Grit and Valor: 1949 - An awesome blend of roguelike, RTS, and tower defense - Released today!

More to come on this one!  I was part of the playtest for Grit and Valor, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic combination of genres very near and dear to me.  Check out my video I did during the playtest of one of the boss fights.  More videos and stream very soon!

Twilight Survivors - Much better than I thought it would be!

I have a problem.  I have a lot of roguelikes/lites.  A lot.  Some I've only played for a few minutes.  Some not at all.  And many I've sunk hundreds of hours in.  I'm not a huge fan of the anime aesthetic in most media, HOWEVER, Twilight Survivors has some mechanics that drew me in.

Roguelike vs. Roguelite: What's the difference?!

All the time I read and hear  “roguelike” and “roguelite” in conversations, on Steam, in articles, and it's come to a point where most are using the word roguelike to describe everything in the genre.   Procedurally generated levels, permadeath, high replayability, and meta upgrades are just some of the features that describe these games.  But what's the right term to use?

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel - Roguelite gem in the genre sea

The roguelike and roguelite genres have had a ton of games released, especially survivor-likes, since the success of Vampires Survivors.  Jotunnslayer succeeds in laying a great foundation for a hit.  Released in January this year, and their first major update out just a couple days ago, I'd say it's in my top roguelite games to dump a ton of hours into and get that Perfect Game for 2025.

Karate Survivor is a fantastic, unique roguelite experience!

Karate Survivor is a fresh take on the survivors-like roguelike genre, and a VERY welcome one. Jackie Chan style combat in unique locations, using whatever you can find as a weapon, flipping over counters, pushing crates into groups of enemies, and more. Very true to it's source material, and challenging at just the right times. I hope the developers continue to add more content in the near future, or even a small priced DLC with more maps, characters, even more great music, and moves. I'd love to see things like judo moves or throws, where you can throw enemies into groups of other enemies, and other moves that break up the hit queues a little more. Thank you @alawar for a great game and hope to see more!

Drone Strike: Engineer Simulator - Not bad for .95 cents!

Hi everyone! Today I played a game called Drone Strike: Engineer Simulator!

First, when I think of a drone game, what comes to mind are those videos of people doing stunts and all kinds of crazy flying in abandoned building.  This is not that.  This is more of a secret mission style game. You're taking photos of people, stealing items, dropping off packages, and even doing assassinations.
