New Retro Game: Hero-U
Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption is an Adventure/Role Playing Game under development by Corey and Lori Cole, creators of the Award-winning Quest for Glory Series. Great to see a lot of the original designers coming back with the help of Kickstarter, when it may never have happened otherwise. If you're an adventure fan of any kind, you'll probably want to check this out.

New Retro Horror Game: Peridium
Found a great looking point and click game today called Peridium. 2D point and click, full voice acting, and multiple endings. Sounds like a winner.
Mycologist Dr. James Turner had been stationed at an Antarctic research base for the past decade. He and his wife were nearing completion of their study into the ancient fungal organisms buried deep below the ice, when something had gone very wrong.

Retro DOS Review: Beneath A Steel Sky
I read a great quote somewhere recently (I wish I could remember where so I could give credit) making a very simple comparison to adventure games of today and older ones. It said:
